UNTITLED (Liz Lane/Kellie Hanna) -- Remember those college days when you posed for picture that now you’d rather forget.  But man websites are now allowing private pictures to become very public.
One victim discovered some of her private, provocative photos found their way online on the site “You Got Posted” dot com.  It’s a website which published private x-rated photographs with or without the consent of those who appear in them.

In this woman’s case, the racy photos had been saved on a laptop which, she says, was stolen from her home.  Now her private photos had become public and her reputation destroyed.

“They wanted me to pay $4,999 and they said there’s a 99% chance they could take it down,” said the victim who wanted to remain anonymous.
Attorney and privacy expert Anne McKenna set out to help the woman and said she went on a wild journey. “Think of the force of that.  Your life is over, you’re going to get fired and people are going to think you are a ‘hoe’; or give us $5,000.”

McKenna found out that ‘Change My Reputation” dot com is the site that charges thousands to remove the photos from “You Got Posted” dot com.

However McKenna believes the websites may really be the same.

Without paying a dime, McKenna successfully convinced the site to remove the photos of the victim.
