ODJFS Releases Ohio Unemployment Numbers for May
COLUMBUS (Derek Drake) -- The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) released Ohio's unemployment numbers for the month of May.
Officials at ODJFS say Ohio's unemployment rate remained at 7.0 percent, the same rate reported for Ohio in April.
Ohio's employment numbers jumped over 32,000 between April and May in nonfarm jobs earning an hourly wage or salary.
The number of unemployed workers in Ohio went up slightly from the 400,000 reported in April to 405,000 for May.
