OSU President Gordon Gee Says Goodbye
COLUMBUS (Chelsea Spears) -- Hundreds of OSU students and alumni got the chance to take one last photo with the iconic man in a bowtie on Thursday.
In his final week as president at The Ohio State University, E. Gordon Gee spent an hour saying goodbye and taking photos with people who waited in line at the Ohio Union.
Generations of families came for one last glimpse of Gee as president. One such woman was Cynthia Crisp, an Ohio State alumna and mother of a current OSU student.
“So we get a beginning and an end picture, I told my sister- she’s the alpha and I’m the omega,” Crisp said.
Gee plans to stay in Columbus and teach at Ohio State after he finishes his presidency.
