Columbus Authorities Search for 17-Year-Old Endangered Runaway

COLUMBUS (Kelsey Mallahan) -- Officials in the Columbus Division of Police’s Special Victims Bureau began searching for a missing 17-year-old girl on Tuesday evening.

Authorities said Dazaunique Simpson was last seen at her home in southeast Columbus on July 27 at midnight wearing a red dress and black Coach scarf.

Simpson is described as a black female with brown hair and eyes. She’s five-feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. Simpson has been diagnosed with autism.

Police classified Simpson as an endangered runaway. If you have any information about her whereabouts contact the Columbus Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 645-4624 or 645-2358.
