Line Break Interrupts Water Services for Thousands of London Residents
LONDON (Ken Hines) -- Water services are being slowly returned to city residents after a line break caused an interruption for several hours Wednesday.
The break at the London treatment plant disrupted services for approximately 9000 people, according to the city's water supervisor, Marty Colwell.
Crews re-activated the city's system on Wednesday evening, but Colwell cautioned that services would not be fully restored for several hours.
Environmental Protection Agency and Emergency Management Agency workers have advised London residents to boil all drinking water during the two weeks that follow the restoration of services.
