Columbus Mother: Daughter's Bully Left Bottle of Urine on Porch

COLUMBUS (Carol Luper/Ken Hines) -- A central Ohio mother believes police should do more to protect her daughter after a bully allegedly left a bottle of urine on the family's porch.

The 13-year-old girl has been repeatedly bullied on Facebook by a teenage boy, according to the victim's mother, who blames that boy for placing the bottle of urine on her front porch.

The girl's mother claims the teen also posted a follow-up message to Facebook after leaving the urine at her home.

"One of the threats that they sent on Facebook stated that the urine had AIDS in it, and she needed to drink it and die," the mother said.

The girl's mother claims she reported the incident to Columbus police, but was told that there was little action that could be taken against the perpetrator due to a lack of physical aggression against her daughter.

"We actually showed [the urine] to police," the mother said. "He said there was nothing they could do with it. He said, 'just dispose of it.'"

The girl's mother also claims her daughter's Facebook account was hacked, resulting in nasty messages being sent to her friends.

The mother provided the name of the teenage boy she believes is her daughter's tormentor to police, but does not know if he has been interviewed by police.
