Deputies Release Images from Prairie Twp. Bank Robbery

PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Ken Hines) -- Deputies hope the release of surveillance images will lead to the the arrest of a suspect who threatened a teller while robbing a Franklin County bank.

The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from Huntington Bank at 4975 W. Broad St. at approximately 9 a.m. Thursday before fleeing on foot to a nearby wooded area.

The unidentified suspect handed a teller a plastic bag before demanding cash, and threatened to harm the woman if she failed to comply with his demand. He did not imply the presence of a weapon.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s, 5'1" to 5'5" tall, 140 lbs. to 160 lbs., with dark hair. He was wearing jeans, black shoes, a dark blue sweatshirt, and a camouflaged ball cap at the time of the robbery.
