Former Drama Teacher Sentenced After Voyeurism Charges

COLUMBUS (Kellie Hanna) -- Larry Dibble, former drama teacher at Wellington School, was sentenced to four years in prison and will have to register as a sex offender for 15 years after he was found guilty of voyeurism.

He was accused of taking pictures of girls undressing at the school and was charged with voyeurism and sexual imposition.

After a girl came forward saying Dibble had fondled her under her skirt during practice for a play, a search warrant was executed for his home.

Sixteen underage girls were seen on video tape recordings at his home.  A judge suppressed that video during a trial saying an Upper Arlington police detective lied in order to get the search warrant and the video, but the supreme court overturned that ruling.

Larry Dibble ended up pleading no contest to the charges and was sentenced in court Thursday.

Six victims read impact statements during the sentencing hearing.
