Two Cars Strike Boy in East Columbus; Victim in Stable Condition

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A young boy has been upgraded to stable condition after he was struck by two cars on an East Side road.

The six-year-old boy was hit at the intersection of Taylor and Greenway Avenues on Wednesday afternoon after running into the road, according to a passenger who was riding in one of the vehicles that struck the child.

One of the drivers involved in the accident drove the boy to Nationwide Children's Hospital, according to police. Both drivers stopped after the child was hit.

The boy was initially listed in critical condition after arriving at the hospital.
