Two Men Stabbed Over Domestic Fight
COLUMBUS (Kellie Hanna) -- Police have arrested 22-year-old Jamie Pace II out of a stabbing in South Columbus.
Detectives say two parents started fighting in front of 1714 Reinhard Avenue over their child about 12:15 a.m.
Other people got involved and that's when two men followed each other in the back of 1717 E. Whittier Street.
Pace, who is identified as the suspect, stabbed the victim, who is identified as 27-year-old Dequan Hairston, in the back.
The fight continued after the stabbing. The suspect was also stabbed as a result of the fight.
Both men were taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Both have been upgraded to stable condition.
Right now, only Pace has been charged with felonious assault. Police say they don't expect Hairston will face charges.
