Teens 'Make A Wish' Comes True
COLUMBUS (Yolanda Harris) -- A Worthington Kilbourne hockey player gets the second surprise of his life.
Scott Humes battled end stage renal failure and had a kidney transplant earlier this year. The donor was his mom.
But, the surprises didn't end there. The Make a Wish foundation surprised Humes Tuesday during hockey practice. Columbus Blue Jackets' Matt Calvert was there as they revealed the makeover to his SUV.
"It's always great to make a wish for a young boy, and he was really excited," said Matt Calvert, Columbus Blue Jackets.
"I have such a great mother. I am so thankful for her. She helped me through a lot," said Scott Humes.
