Police: Child Sexually Assaulted by Homeless Teen Staying in the House

COLUMBUS (Kate Liebers) -- A four-year-old child was allegedly sexually assaulted by a young homeless man who was staying with the family, the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office reported.

Charles Anthony Combs, Jr., 19, was arrested Monday for the alleged assult. He was charged with a first-degree felony count of kidnapping with specifications and third-degree felony count of gross sexual imposition, punishable by 15 to 20 years in prison. 

Police said the child's mother had walked in on the perpetrator, who was alone with the child in a room inside their Canal Winchester home.

Combs fled the scene but was later found and arrested at a nearby shopping center.
