OSU Student Robbed By Armed Woman

COLUMBUS (Ben Garbarek) -- Ohio State University Police are looking for a woman that allegedly robbed a student at gunpoint.

The robbery apparently happened near the corner of 15th Avenue and Indianola Avenue Monday night around 11:30pm.

Police said a heavy woman wearing a camou jacket and black mask or scarf came up to the student with a handgun.

Students said they're surprised to hear of an armed robbery in that part of campus.

"Living on 15th, I would just assume 15th is pretty safe," said student Zoe Petievich.  "It's where all the Greek housing is, it's pretty well lit around, so I always feel safe walking around by myself."

The victim apparently was not hurt.  Anyone with information should call OSU Police.
