Killer Remains Unidentified Days After N. Columbus Shooting

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A killer's identity remains unknown days after a victim's body was found in a North Side home.

Officers found the body of Joseph Jewell Jr. on Saturday evening while investigating a report of a possible burglary at 1141 E. 20th Ave.

Detectives believe Jewell was shot to death inside the home hours before his body was discovered.

Police have interviewed at least three witnesses in connection with the murder, but have yet to identify a suspect or establish a possible motive for the shooting.
