Police Trying to Identify Suspect Who Shot into SE Columbus Homes

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Police are turning to the public for assistance in their search for the person responsible for firing shots into a Southeast Side home, wounding an elderly man.

Odell Clodfelter was shot in the arm when bullets crashed through his window as he watched television inside his home at 2594 Summerway Ct. on Thursday evening.

Medics transported Clodfelter, 77, to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

An unknown assailant also fired shots into the home at 2600 Summerway Ct. That home was empty at the time of the shooting, according to investigators.
