Clintonville Man Accused of Beating Wife for 4 Straight Days

CLINTONVILLE (Jen French) -- A husband has been charged after police say he beat his wife for nearly four days.

60-year-old David Huba was charged Saturday morning with felonious assault. Police say Huba punched, kicked and struck his 65-year-old wife with several household items between Oct. 29 until Nov. 1. The woman's son took her to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where she was found to have several factures and broken ribs.

Neighbors said they had no idea what was happening behind closed doors.

I certainly hope she recovers and is doing well, Andracki said.

A judge ordered Huba to not contact his wife. He was given a $300,000 appearance and $300,000 cash surety bond.
