Michigan Fan Brings Buckeye Rivalry Close to Home

MARYSVILLE (Jen French) -- In anticipation of the Ohio State vs. Michigan game, some homes are divided.

For one family, its not just a football rivalry -- its a sibling rivalry that has lasted for years.

Tammy Michael said scarlet and grey run in her blood, but Saturday, there will be a clash of colors in her family.

"My brother, for some reason, turned Michigan and we have yet to figure that out, Michael said.

Rick Simpon, Michaels brother, is hosting the tailgaiting party.

"It's always been at my place. Lucky me, Simpson said.

Though the siblings are Ohio born, Simpson has been rooting for the Wolverines since he was a kid.

"I think out of spite. It just grew. Once I stick with a team, regardless win lose or draw, Simpson said.

Michael argues the odds arent in her brothers favor.

"Next year. It's the infamous we'll get you next year. It never happens, Michael said.
