Suspect Uses Inhaler While Robbing North Columbus Subway

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A suspect who allegedly used an inhaler while robbing a restaurant continues to elude police.

The unidentified suspect displayed the handle of a gun that was tucked into his waist band while he robbed Subway at 2109 Polaris Pkwy. on Saturday evening.

Witnesses told police the suspect spent several minutes inside the restroom after entering the restaurant, and was spotted using an inhaler before demanding money from an employee. He then fled the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as African-American, 6'2" tall with a trimmed beard. He is estimated to be in his early 20s to late 30s, and was wearing red pants, black shoes, a gray toboggan, and a red jacket during the robbery.
