OSHP Looking for Drunk Drivers This New Year's Eve

MADISON COUNTY (Tara Morgan) -- If you're drinking, think twice about getting behind the wheel, not just on New Year's Eve, but any night says Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers were out in force as people welcomed 2014.

ABC6/FOX28 rode along with OSHP Trooper Troy Gray in Madison County Tuesday night.

He looked for subtle tell-tale signs of possible drunk drivers.

"Look for lane violations unusually slow speed, "said Trooper Gray.

Trooper Gray says some people don't realize they've crossed the line.

"You may be able to walk out of the bar not get carried but just because you can walk out to your car doesn't necessarily mean you should be driving," said Trooper Gray.

State patrol had more troopers on the roads to help keep drivers safe.
