Revol Wireless Going Out of Business; Central Ohio Stores Changing to Boost
COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Revol Wireless will go out of business in January, forcing thousands of customers to switch to new service providers.
Company officials announced the move Wednesday on their website. Revol will terminate all wireless services at 11:59 p.m. on January 16.
In the release, Revol officials also announced that some of their current stores will become Boost Mobile locations on December 18, including shops at 1281 Morse Road and 2151 Eakin Road in Columbus, and 771 S. 30th St. in Heath.
Current Revol customers who choose to move to Boost Mobile will be eligible for a free phone and a free month of wireless service. Those customers will also be able to keep their current phone numbers.
