Grandview Police Continue Search for Woman's Killer

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Police are again asking for the public's help as they continue their effort to identify a killer who stabbed a Grandview mother in the summer of 2013.

Grandview Police Chief David R. Wood released a statement on Friday asking for new information about the murder of Jennifer L. Cooke, who was found dead from multiple stab wounds inside her Woodhill Drive home on August 11, 2013.

Grandview police continue to investigate the murder with the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies, but have yet to identify a suspect or suspects in the case, despite the existence of several leads and multiple persons of interest who have yet to be ruled out by detectives.

"Investigators have obtained an immense amount of information that requires careful processing and examination," Wood's statement reads. "Active leads are still being pursued and continue to come in from various sources."

Cooke, 35, was the mother of a 10-year-old girl, and worked at The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center at the time of her murder.

Anyone with information about the murder is encouraged to contact Grandview police at 614-488-7901.
