WINTER BLAST: Snow, Cold Greet Central Ohioans on Tuesday Morning

COLUMBUS (Kelsey Mallahan/Ken Hines) -- Another winter blast caused long commutes and school delays on Tuesday, as snow and freezing temperatures moved back into central Ohio.

Slick roads led to several accidents and traffic delays in the area, though many morning commutes would likely have been much worse if not for the efforts of dozens of ODOT plow drivers who hit the streets on Monday night and the following morning to salt interstates, as well as state and U.S. routes.

No major injuries were reported in connection with vehicle accidents on Tuesday morning, though two people were hospitalized following a rollover crash on I-71 in Delaware County.
