Ohio Limo Driver Found Dead in Dublin

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Kate Liebers) -- A limo driver was shot dead during an apparent robbery Tuesday night on in Washington Township, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office reported.

Deputies found the victim, identified as Paul Devitt, around 7:40 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hayden Heights Mobile Home Park at 5501 Cosgray Road. Initial reports suggested the body was found under a vehicle, and FCSO said the man had been shot in the upper body.

Devitte, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives said the victim was a driver for a limousine service and was driving a 2007 black Chevrolet Suburban, with the Ohio license plate BLKCAR1, before his death. Investigators believe the vehicle was stolen and said robbery was the motive for the apparent homicide.
