Police Investigate Death of Missing Denison Student

Granville (Jen French) --A search for a missing student has ended.

A Denison university senior - was found dead in the snow. The cause of his death is still under investigation, but police suspect he died from exposure.

David Hallman of Erie Pennsylvania was seen Saturday at 2AM at Brews cafe. Bar surveillance video shows he left without a coat. He wasn't found until after 10:30 Saturday night.

Police think Hallman became disoriented after leaving the bar and ended up nearly a mile away - in front of a garage on Parsons Village Drive.

The search started when the student's father said his son missed an appointment at noon- and couldn't be reached by his cell phone.

Granville police and Denison university security organized a search - and tracked his cell phone.

Security looked all over campus for him. Hours later- two women ran into his body in the snow.

No foul play is suspected. Hallmans cause of death is still under investigation- but police suspect alcohol is a factor.
