Perpetrator of Violent Beer Theft in Columbus Still At Large

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A man who slashed the neck of a gas station security guard while stealing a six pack of beer continues to avoid identification.

The suspect attacked the guard as he ran out of Turkey Hill on E. Broad Street with the stolen beer on January 21.

The suspect is described as African-American, 35-40-years old, and 150-170 lbs. He was wearing tan pants and a red coat during the robbery, and drove away from the gas station in a gold, four-door sedan.
