With less than a week until Election Day, the Trump and Biden campaigns are making stops in Ohio this week in hopes of swaying undecided voters.

Eric Trump spoke Wednesday night at a campaign event at the Boat House at Confluence Park.

About three hundred people attended the Make America Great Again event.

ABC 6/FOX 28 spoke with Trump one-on-one after his speech.

We asked about President Trump's claims that the nation 'rounding the corner' despite record increases in daily COVID-19 cases in Ohio within the last week.

"Well, we are rounding the corner. There's no question about it. You know the mortality rates are down significantly, and you've got the best therapeutics in the world that have been developed and the best vaccines that are coming out," said Eric Trump, who said his father is doing well after recovering from COVID-19.

"They have to win a lot of states, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania. The last thing they want to be doing is fighting it out in a tie ball game in Ohio but that's clearly why they're here. They know they're stuck in a real ground fight here in Ohio," said David Pepper of the Ohio Democratic Party.

Trump said he disagrees.

"Not at all. It's called respect. If we are going to ask for someone's vote, we actually show up and we want to be among the people and we'll do twelve stops a day," Trump said.

Pepper said he believes Ohio could go blue on Tuesday.

"We're excited to be on offense here in Ohio and we know it's tight and we'll keep fighting until every vote is cast and counted," Pepper said.

We asked Trump whether or not his father will make another appearance in Ohio before Tuesday.

"Well, it looks like it. I don't want to rain on the campaign's official parade but it looks like there's a very good chance that he does. He loves this state," Trump said.

The Ohio Democratic Party said as of now, there are no announced plans for former Vice President Joe Biden to come to the Buckeye State before Tuesday's election.
