Salvation Army LemonAiD

What’s better than a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day?!?

The Salvation Army is kicking off it’s summertime LemonAiD campaign Friday June 1st throughout Central Ohio! Register online to host a lemonade stand or in person today and tomorrow in Easton Town Center or the Rusty Bucket in Dublin. The Salvation Army uses 100% of your proceeds will benefit after school and summer programs, right here in Columbus.

ABC 6 and FOX 28 are helping the Salvation Army of Central Ohio kick-off the third annual LemonAiD campaign. LemonAiD is a kids helping kids campaign, a great way to teach kids they can make a positive difference in their community.

The concept is easy and flexible. Kids and families choose the day, time and location to hold their lemonade stand in June or July then donate proceeds to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army then uses 100% of the donated proceeds to provide healthy meals, after-school and summer programs for low income children. Last year, The Salvation Army served more than 21,000 children in need.

The Campaign kicks off Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2, with Salvation Army youth volunteers and corps officers hosting LemonAiD stands around the city to help get kids registered and to collect donations.

The Kick-Off locations are as follows:
