COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- One of central Ohio's most anticipated summer foodie events is back. The 8th annual Columbus Food Truck Festival, which was named the Best Foodie Event in the state by Ohio Magazine, takes place from Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. in Downtown's Scioto Mile. Admission is free for everyone.
The event, which is the Midwest’s largest food truck festival, will have over 60 mobile food vendors, arts and crafts hubs and family activities. There will be live music and dozens of local and national bands on the Bicentennial Park Stage and on a Second Stage located on Washington street. There will also be a kids area on Saturday associated with the 7th Annual Great Duck Race that will feature youth activities and entertainment.
