Cam Around Town: Restored WWII bomber Memphis Belle debut

World War II bomber Memphis Belle is ready to be displayed for the first time since getting restored at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Ohio.

Feature reporter Cameron Fontana was live in Dayton as the The B-17 was introduced Thursday morning. The plane will serve as the main attraction in the World War II gallery.

The Memphis Belle spent several years undergoing a piece-by-piece rehabilitation. The plane was celebrated for being the first bomber to survive 25 missions over occupied Europe and return to the U.S.

The plane came to Ohio after it was displayed outside in Tennessee.
