Recipe: Banana Foster


Recipe for Banana Foster:

1 Ripe Banana

1 ½ ounces Cognac or Brandy

3 ounces Pecans

1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

2 ounces Butter

2 ounces Brown Sugar

1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

In a medium sauté pan, over high heat, melt the butter. Sliced the banana into ½ inch pieces and add. Cook for about 1 minute.

Add cognac and flame, be careful.

Add ground cinnamon, brown sugar and pecans.

Sauté for one minute, spoon over ice cream.
