Cash reward offered for suspects who shot, injured two in bar parking lot

    Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward to find two gunmen caught on video opening fire, in front of a north Columbus bar in 2018, injuring two women.

    Columbus Police say security cameras caught two men sneaking up to Sunrise Bar on East Hudson Street and opening fire without warning before running away from the scene.

    Police say mother of five Shantia Peterson, 30, was shot in the neck in the parking lot of the bar around 12:45 a.m. on September 22.

    Peterson is now paralyzed from the neck down after suffering a stroke and remains hospitalized. Doctors say the bullet can't be removed.

    A second woman was shot in the back, but is expected to make a full recovery.
