A Grove City business is using social media to find thieves accused of stealing tires and rims last week from its auto store.

"We are out working hard and do the right thing, " said Steve Funk owner of Funky's Automotive, "We feel violated."

Surveillance cameras last week captured thieves stealing tires and rims off of a plow truck that was parked in front of the business during the early hours of October 30th.

"All the tires and rims were gone," said Funk.

The suspects left behind lug nut covers and a tire rim. Funk said the accused thief left his nearly 20-year-old plow sitting on top of four tire rims after running off with the stolen loot worth more than $1,000.

Funk sent ABC 6/FOX 28 the video of the crime hoping someone will recognize the unique get-away vehicle, a pick-up that appears to be a late model GMC truck with a wooden bed.

"It's stations like yours that help to find these guys," said Funk.

Funk taking even more action; he posted the video on social media asking people to send tips to police.

"I can't believe the overwhelming response that we have had," said Funk, "we just hope to make a small dent in this area of Columbus and catch these guys."
