(KUTV) - Tate Morgan is 8-years-old and lives in Spanish Fork.

He is high-functioning autistic.

He decided a couple of years ago to start growing out his hair to help other kids.

His last haircut was Christmas Eve 2015.

He decided today was the day to cut it all off. His mother, Kassandra, is seen in the video chopping off his ponytail.

All of the hair is being donated to Children With Hair Loss.
