26-year-old man shot near southwest Columbus gas station, police searching for shooter

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Police are searching for a shooter after officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound overnight.

Columbus Police said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of West Mound Street and South Glenwood Avenue around 2:35 a.m. officers found a 26-year-oldDejore Baldwin with a gunshot wound.

Medics took the victim to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

Authorities said Balwin is expected to survive his injuries.
