Forest Park Police locate missing 2-year-old, arrest mother who took him
FOREST PARK, Ohio (WKRC) - The Forest Park Police Department located a missing 2-year-old boy and his mother, who officers say took the boy.
The 2-year-old went missing Wednesday night around 7 p.m. with his mother Priscilla Kavanaugh, who is a non-custodial parent.
Police found the boy and Kavanaugh in Springfield Township before 1 a.m. on Thursday. Police say Kavanugh has a history of mental illness and has not been taking her medication.
The child appeared to be unharmed and the mother was taken into custody. The child was released to his father.
Forest Park Police have filed an abduction charge against Kavanaugh.
