A man accused of robbing a Hilliard home improvement store at knifepoint was arrested Wednesday.

Hilliard Police said 46-year-old Richard Ellis was arrested for allegedly robbing the Trueman Boulevard Home Depot earlier this month.

Police said Ellis pulled a knife on an employee as he walked out of the store with a shopping cart full of items valued thousands of dollars.

He has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and police believe he may be connected to other Home Depot thefts in the Columbus area.
