A man is dead after an accident at a north Columbus car wash Monday afternoon.

Columbus, Ohio fire officials said the person died after getting trapped in machinery at the Soft Touch Car Wash on Sinclair Road.

A 911 caller said a man was electrocuted, but the cause of death has yet to be confirmed by medics. An autopsy would reveal the exact cause.

Homicide detectives headed to the scene to investigate. The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Daniel Boucher.

Witnesses at the scene frantically called 911 for help.

"I've got an employee that's electrocuted," one 911 caller said. "He's laying back in the back, not moving."

A second 911 caller said Boucher was wrapped in a machine. OSHA officials were also called to the scene to investigate.
