COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Columbus Police say a man was killed and another rushed to the hospital after a shooting in west Columbus Tuesday night.

The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday at 5570 Applefair Drive.

Police say a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 21-year-old man was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

At this time, no suspect information has been released. This was the 17th homicide in Columbus this year.
