Dublin police have identified the victim killed in a quiet, golf club community as a 50-year-old doctor. Police say the victim, Christopher Osborn, was found dead inside his home on Ennishannon place in the Villas at Ballantrae.

A 911 call released by Dublin police Wednesday revealed it was Osborn's wife who found him dead in their bed Wednesday morning. The wife called her father, who then called police about the murder. In the call, Osborn's father-in-law said that his daughter was an RN and she was inebriated at the time of the call.

Many of the neighbors did not know the couple. They say he was a family medicine doctor in Dublin. Today they are still left wondering what happened inside this home.

"We are still looking for answers, " said Lynne Smith. "We don't know anymore than we knew yesterday"

No arrests have been made. Police did question Osborn's wife; she has since been released.

A police spokesperson would only say that investigators have a person of interest and that police are doing a thorough investigation.
