Police search for man accused of robbing bank near Hilliard

A man is on the run after he allegedly robbed a bank near Hilliard Thursday afternoon.

Police say the man targeted the PNC Bank in the 1700 block of Hilliard Rome Road after 3:30 p.m.

He demanded cash from the teller, and they complied, per Columbus Police.

The man is described as being around 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds, in his early to mid thirties. Surveillance photos show he has facial hair and a red mark on his right cheek. He was wearing a white hat, dark button down shirt, dark pants and business casual shoes.
