COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Chants of "Reopen Ohio" could be heard during Gov. Mike DeWine's daily COVID-19 briefing Monday as protesters once again gathered outside the statehouse.
The crowd of about 70 people gathered outside the statehouse with flags, signs, bullhorns, bells and drums and called for the state to be reopened.
At times, protesters pounded on the windows of the statehouse.
On Thursday, April 9, about 50 protesters gathered on the steps of the statehouse and chanted in opposition of the state's stay-at-home order.
They said their message was, they're ready to get back to work.
