Rutherford B. Hayes High School closed Thursday following threat, person in custody
One person is in custody after a threat was reported at Delaware Hayes High School.
Delaware City Schools superintendent, Paul Craft, told ABC 6/FOX 28 that classes at the school will be cancelled on Thursday out of an abundance of caution. The superintendent said all other schools in the district will remain open.
Several students told school officials about an individual that may cause harm to others.
Delaware Police are currently investigating this incident as a credible threat.
