Stay-at-home mother in Delaware discovers second career behind the camera
Megan Edwards was a newspaper reporter before she moved to Central Ohio.
After her third daughter was born, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom.
"Making that decision was a hard one," she writes on her website, "but one that I don’t regret as it has opened new doors for me and my love for photography."
Megan spent a lot of her time taking photos of her children, and she focused on the ordinary moments of their lives. For her, these were the moments that needed to be documented.
"Those sweet moments make up your life," she wrote.
While taking photos of her own children, she realized other parents might be able to do the same.
So, Megan decided to go back to work, but this time as a professional photographer with a focus on families.
"I want to capture the beautiful moments that occur daily, but may go unnoticed. From the way your child twirls her hair when sleepy to the somersaults your son pulls when he has had enough, I’ll be there."
