Investigators said two people were rushed to the OSU Wexner Medical Center around 2:30 Sunday afternoon after their car caught fire at the Dallas mobile home park off McKinley Avenue.

Fire crews said a male and female suffered burns and smoke inhalation.

Investigators said the car appeared to be a newer model Ford Mustang that was destroyed in the blaze.

They're still searching for a cause.

Two mobile home units also received some damage.

Neighbors said they tried to do what they could to help before firefighters and medics arrived.

"He was yelling, my cars on fire, my cars on fire, I tried to help his wife or whoever was laying beside the car, I don't know if she'd fallen or what so went and pulled her out of the way and from there, it just exploded" said Larry Hylton who lives next door to the fire scene.

Investigators said the victims are expected to be okay.
