Authorities "intercept" 4 footballs filled with contraband inside Georgia prison

MACON, Ga. (WGXA)-- Georgia Department of Corrections recently found four footballs filled with contraband in Macon.

They recovered the footballs on June 10.

In the football, officials found:

  • 10 smartphones
  • 4 cellphone batteries
  • 4 cellphone chargers
  • 8 packs of rolling papers
  • 8 bags of tobacco totaling more than 1,100 grams
