Victim identified after deadly shooting in Delaware

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Police have revealed the identity of the victim ofa shooting in Delaware on Friday.

The shooting happened at around 4 p.m. on Ross Street, and the person that called police said that they knew the shooter.

Police later found the shooting victim in the area suffering from a gunshot wound. He was sent to a local hospital, where he later died.

The victim was identified by police as 37-year-old Alonzo S. Byrd of Delaware.

The 17-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting. He was found by police near the area of the shooting.
