The Ohio State Women's Basketball team will look to win their first Big Ten Tournament title since 2011 on Sunday.

On Saturday the top-seeded Buckeyes defeated Minnesota 90-88 to advance past the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.

With the win, the regular-season Big Ten Champion Buckeyes earned the right to play in the tournament finale. They will take on Maryland at 7:00 pm on ESPN2 Sunday night.

The Terrapins have won the past three Big Ten Tournament Championships, including a win in 2015 over Ohio State.

The Buckeyes look very different than the last Ohio State team that won the Big Ten Tournament. In 2011, the team was led by then head coach Jim Foster, Center Jantel Lavender, and Guard Sammy Prahalis. Both Lavender and Prahalis went onto play in the WNBA. It's likely that 3-time Big Ten Player of the Year Kelsey Mitchell will follow in their footsteps. Foster is currently the head coach at Tennessee Chattanooga.

Ohio State head coach Kevin McGuff has never won the Big Ten Tournament. McGuff took over the reigns in 2013.
