The storybook season for Ohio State Men's Basketball has ended in Boise, Idaho.

The Ohio State Buckeyes trailed Gonzaga at half 44-33. The Buckeyes were unable to catch up, falling to the Bulldogs 90-84 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Forward Keita-Bates Diop led the team with 23 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

Guard Kam Williams had 17 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The Buckeye's tournament exit means they'll have to wait another year for a chance at a national title. They haven't made it to the round of 16 since 2013.

There is still something to look forward to. Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann is one of four finalists for the Naismith Coach of the Year award.
