OSU Women's Basketball adds Jennifer Sullivan to staff

On Friday, Ohio State head coach Kevin McGuff announced the hiring of Jennifer Sullivan as an assistant coach.

“I am really excited to add Jennifer to our staff,” said McGuff. “Her basketball knowledge and her diverse background will be a great asset as we continue to build a championship program.”

Sullivan comes to Ohio State after spending the past five seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Missouri State.

During her time with the Lady Bears, the team won 93 games and made four postseason appearances, including a run to the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

Sullivan thanked coach Mcguff for the opportunity, and said “His brand of basketball is fun and exciting and I can’t wait to add my skills to the staff and help continue the success the team has enjoyed in recent seasons.”

She also added that she is excited to join the Ohio State women's basketball program, “I’d like to thank coach McGuff for giving me this opportunity and I am excited to join the Ohio State women’s basketball program."

According to Ohio State, Sullivan was a three-year starter at Memphis from 2001-05. She helped the Tigers to the second round of the 2004 WNIT, and was named team MVP her senior season.
